CPAT Techniques: Project administration Course

Attend this three-day Project Administration Course event and develop your project administration skills to provide support to a project management team.

This event is ideal for all project support staff, including secretaries and administrative assistants and for people who need to develop their project administration support skills.

/ WHAT IS

Certificate in Project Administration Techniques (CPAT) provides a foundation from which to develop your competencies and skills in a project management support role. Delegates who complete the Project Administration Coarse certificate successfully can go on to have rewarding careers in the public and private sector.

/ APPROACH AND DURATION

The event is delivered by an experienced trainer who will facilitate interactive group work and encourage the learning experience through the use of multiple training mediums, group work and exercises. It is delivered over a period of 3 days.

Certificates are issued to delegates who have successfully completed an examination on the day 3.

/ OUTCOMES

This event is aligned to the NQF Level 4 Unit Standard 120381: Implement Project Administration Processes According to Requirements. The Unit Standard carries 5 credits.

The delegate will be able to complete tasks such as maintaining project documentation through Configuration Management principles. The event will teach delegates how to:

  • Document and compile minutes of meetings and how to schedule and plan meetings.
  • Update project plans and how to handle internal and external communications in a competent manner.
  • Plan and organize workshops.
  • Compile and distribute project reports related to progress, issues, risk and other reports.
  • Coordinate project events like presentations, planning sessions and team building functions.
  • Work in a project office
  • Understand and participate in the running of a project team and influence the deliverables of the project in a positive way.
