PMO Training – P3O ®: Portfolio, Programme & Project Offices

What is the best way to set up and run a PMO? How do I make my PMO effective, appreciated by project managers and executives alike?

For the answers to these questions, attend our training event on Portfolio, Programme and Project Office Management, abbreviated to P3O, so it’s an O not a zero. This internationally accredited qualification is aimed at candidates who work in or aspire to working in a PMO either as a PMO Manager, Project Specialist, Project Co-ordinator, Programme or Project Administrator.

For experienced PMO and project managers and project specialists we recommend you do the full Practitioner event followed by the Management of Portfolio certification, whilst less experienced delegates should attend the P3O Foundation event.

P3O is a model and a guide on how to set up, implement, refresh and operate a Portfolio Programme and Project Office at any level in the organization. The model covers both the governance and the enablement support services”, offering advice to organizations on current best management practice thinking.

P3O consolidates a set of principles, processed and techniques to facilitate effective portfolio programme and project delivery management through enablement, challenge and support structures. These P3O structures also bridge the gap between the strategy and policy makers and the change or project delivery arm of the organization.

The event is facilitated by a highly experienced and certified trainer with extensive practical experience of project, programme and portfolio office implementation and management. The learning experience includes trainer led facilitated learning, practical sessions, individual and team exercises that encourage active delegate participation.
