Project Management Essentials

Whether you are looking at gaining exposure to managing projects or embarking on a career as a professional project manager, you will learn how to apply the generally recognized practices of project management to successfully manage projects.

The Microsoft Project Essentials workshop is designed the individual who may need to perform project management activities in their job role on either a formal or informal basis, any project team members that want to enhance their knowledge of project management.

/ WHAT IS

This event provides an introduction into the world of Project Management, developing delegates’ understanding of the nature of projects and how it relates to day-to-day operations.

Delegates will complete the event with an understanding of the project environment, the processes and sub-processes involved in running a successful project, from start-up to closure. This event covers a full introduction to the PRINCE2® methodology.

/ APPROACH AND DURATION

This event is facilitated by experienced facilitators providing group instruction. Training is provided through hands-on learning, relevant exercises and the provision of a participant handbook.

An examination will be written on the last day of training. The examination will test the delegates understanding of the project management concepts covered in the PME Event.

Delegates will receive a Certificate for successful completion.
